Chairman

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Trade is the Ministry spearheading the Antigua and Barbuda Science and Innovation Park. The Minister is also Chairman of the ABSIP board and provides policy and direction as appropriate to the Board of directors.


Deputy Chairman
Hon. Melford Nicholas


The Ministry of Information, Broadcasting, Telecommunications and Information Technology is a key partner of the Antigua and Barbuda Science and Innovation Park. The Minister is also the Deputy Chairman of the ABSIP board and provides policy and direction as appropriate to the Board of directors.


CEO
Winston Williams


The CEO is the chief Administrator of the Park, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the program. Working closely with the Programme Director (PD) in all administrative aspects of the program to ensure the smoothing functioning of the programs. Additionally, working closely with the Chairman of the ABSIP Board on the overall management and administration of the Park and its programs to ensure the overall success of the Park.


Ambassador/Advisor
Aubrey Webson


As Antigua and Barbuda’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Webson, is responsible for providing expert advice and direction as it relates to all Partnerships, strategy, networking, funding, projects with international development partners and overall guidance to the Park and its initiatives. Working closely with the CEO and the Chairman on all aspects relating to management, strategic partnerships and international opportunities.

The UN 2030 Agenda aims to create a world that is sustainable, environmentally secure, economically prosperous and inclusive. The scale and ambition of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) mean that we all need to work together to find innovative solutions to our world’s biggest challenges. To steer the world’s innovation focus towards SDGs, UNOPS launched an initiative to establish a global network for innovation, named UNOPS Global Innovation Centers (GICs).

The designing and implementing business operations. Establishing policies that promote the park’s culture and vision. Overseeing day to day operations of the park and the work of executives. Community Outreach and the marketing of the park and its programs.


Country Manager
Andrea Andrew


The Programme Director is the Programme Management Professional responsible for all programming for the Innovation Park including all three pillars of the program (BIC, GIC and BIU). Working closely with the Business Startup Manager (BSM) and Innovation Specialists in all technical aspects of the program to ensure Start-ups are successfully incubated and subsequently innovated to viable business enterprises. Additionally, working closely with the CEO on all aspects of the overall management and administration of the Park and its programs.


Project Support & Innovation Specialist UNOPS GIC
Carel E. Hodge



The UNOPS GIC Project Support and Innovation Specialist is the technical expert in the GIC, responsible for all activities of the GIC including the global toolbox which provides invaluable resources such as specialized training, network access, mentorship, etc. The specialist work closely with the local team to ensure Startups are successfully incubated.
